Place to visit: Gorkha Nepal

Gorkha is a small town is perhaps the most important historical town of Nepal. From its hilltop fortes, King Prithvi Narayan Shah, the ninth generation paternal ancestor of the present King, launched his lifelong attempt to unify the independent states of Nepal, a wildly ambitious project which succeeded due to his brilliance, and the effectiveness of his locally recruited troops.   His Gorkha palace resides on top of a hill at an altitude of 3281 feet (about 1000 meter) The King would watch-over his people as far as his eyes could see from the tallest palace in the very center of Nepal!  The British term "Gurkha" evolved from the name Gorkha, referring to the famed fighting brave soldiers of the region who fought with knives against guns.

There are so many places to visit in gorkha Nepal.  Chepe, Daraudi, Marsyangdi and Budhi Gandaki rivers are main silversides,  Ligligkot and Lakhan Thapa’s village bungkot are popular places in Gorkha for Hiking. Here are some main place and attraction:-
Gorkha Manaslu Region Trekking
The area to the east of the Annapurna is the peaks of Manaslu group. Few visitors trek to this area, which makes a visit here all the more unique and unspoiled. The area is bordered by River Budhi Gandaki and to the west by River Marshyangdi. This area is marked by two cultural highlights: Gorkha, Which is the ancestral seat of the reigning Shah dynasty and the temple of Manakamana. Since the treks in the Manaslu region originate at around 1000 meters and reach as high as 5200 meters, the trekkers will see a wide range of flora typical of the middle hills and alpine regions of Nepal. Plants to be seen around here are pine, rhododendron, wildlife included barking deer, pica and Himalayan marmots. Birds to be sighted in the region are pheasant, raven and chough. People of Tibetan origin inhabit several villages. Other groups found here are Gurungs and Tamangs. The best time to trek here is between September and May. A few teahouses area seen in the Manaslu Conservation Area, however, teahouse trekking is not a suggested option. Government regulations require the entire group trekking to the Manaslu circuits to be fully sufficient
Village Trekking from Gorkha
If you seek to trek from Gorkha, there is no where a better place to taste some of Nepal's hillside experience than from Gorkha. You can chose to trek from Gorkha to Kathmandu or Gorkha to Pokhara, However, the most popular trekking from Gorkha is from Gorkha to Pokhara, which is of 10 days. First day, arrive at Gorkha Bazaar, complete sightseeing of the Gorkha palace, then from the second day onwards start trekking from Gorkha - Luitel - Hirmantar - Tarughat - Besisahar - Ghattekhola - Gharpokhari - Rupatal - then arrive Pokhara on the 10th day, then extend a few days of trekking or sightseeing in and around Pokhara
Gorkha Village Tour
Enjoy the village life. You can take part in various activities as the local peoples work. You can visit the School situated in the middle of village and experience the schooling and education system of Nepal.
Gorkha - Khanchowk Trek
it start from kathmandu,  Arughat Bazar, Khanchok village and then gorkha bazar.
Gorkha Palace
There are still two palace ,one is situated top of the hill which is known as upper palace and another one is situated in gorkha bazaar known as lower palace.  In upper palace gorakhnath cave and gorakhkali temple are main attraction. On the west side of palace is the temple of Goddess Gorakhkali. There is also a famous cave sheltering the statue of  Gorakhnath Baba (sage). It is believed that the name of Gorkha was  derived from the name of this sage, whose blessings inspired King  Prithvi Narayan Shah for the unification of Nepal. From the top of the hill above Gorkha palace and from a saddle east of the bazaar, the view of Manaslu and Himalchuli is spectacular. below the palace's southern side, is the sacred cave  temple of Gorkhanath. The cave is carved out of the solid rock and is among the most important religious sites for mainstream Brahmins and Chhetris of Nepal. Lower palace is converted as a museum. There is a viewing platform at an altitude of 1520 meters in Upallokot from where the spectacular view of Gorkha palace and the sliver shining snow-fed peaks can be enjoyed. It is situated at a 20 minutes walking distance from Gorkha palace.
Manakamana:
On a beautiful ridge south-east of the township of Gorkha lies the holy temple of Manakamana, the holy goddess of aspirations. It is a famous pilgrimage site for Hindus. Manakamana is 4 hour's walk uphill from Anbu Khaireni on Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway.  Visiting the Manakamana Temple by cable car is one of the major attractions of the region.
Gorkha is located midway between Kathmandu and Pokhara . Thus it can be reached from both the cities. It lies 140 km west of Kathmandu while 106km East of Pokhara and 25 km far from Abukhaereni. Buses are frequently available from either New Buspark or Kalanki of Kathmandu. There are many hotels, guest houses and restaurants available in Gorkha Bazaar.

Future Sources of Energy

How will our grandchildren meet their energy needs? We'll continue to use oil and natural gas for decades, if not centuries, but as a shrinking portion of our energy pie. We'll also use commonly proposed alternatives like corn-based ethanol and nuclear generators. But there are also big changes ahead, both in terms of what we use and how much we use technologies that already exist
Solar
If things go according to plan, construction on a giant solar tower could begin in Australia in 2006. The 3,280-foot tall tower will be surrounded by a vast greenhouse that will heat air to drive turbines around the base of the tower. It is estimated that the power station will be able to generate 200 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 200,000 households.
Solar energy requires no additional fuel to run and is pollution free. Sunlight can be captured as usable heat or converted into electricity using solar, or photoelectric, cells or through synchronized mirrors known as heliostats that track the sun’s movement across the sky. Scientists have also developed methods for using solar power to replace a gas-powered engine by heating hydrogen gas in a tank, which expands to drive pistons and power a generator.

Coal
Coal was the fuel that powered the Industrial Revolution, and it has played an increasingly larger role in meeting the world's energy needs ever since. The major advantage of coal is that there is lots of it, enough to last the world for another 200-300 years at current rates of consumption.

Wind
Taking the concept of windmills one step further, or higher, scientists want to create power stations in the sky by floating windmills 15,000-feet in the air. The strange crafts will be kept afloat by four propellers that double as turbines, and feed electricity back to earth through a cable.Wind energy currently accounts for only 0.1 percent of the world’s electricity demands, but that number is expected to increase as wind is one of the cleanest forms of energy and can generate power as long as the wind blows.
Petroleum
Estimates of how much petroleum is left in the Earth vary wildly. Some scientists predict that petroleum reserves will reach a peak and then rapidly decline as early as 2005; others believe that enough new reserves will be discovered to meet world energy needs for several more decades Like coal and natural gas, petroleum is relatively cheap compared to other fuel alternatives
Biomass
Biomass energy, or biofuel, involves releasing the chemical energy stored in organic matter such as wood, crops, and animal waste. These materials are burned directly to produce heat or refined to create alcoholic fuels like ethanol.
One exciting but controversial biofuel alternative involves a process known as thermal conversion, or TCP. Unlike conventional biofuels, TCP can convert practically any type of organic matter into high quality petroleum with water as the only byproduct, proponents claim. It remains to be seen, however, whether Changing World Technologies, the company that patented the process, can produce enough oil for it to become a viable fuel alternative.
Hydroelectricity
Whether falling, flowing, or otherwise moving in tides or under-ocean currents, water can be harnessed to produce electric power. Hydropower supplies approximately 20 percent of the world’s electricity. Until recently, it was generally believed that water energy is an abundant natural resource that requires no additional fuel and produces no pollution. Recent studies, however, challenge some of these claims and suggest that hydroelectric dams can produce significant amounts of carbon dioxide and methane through the decay of submerged plant material. In some cases, these emissions rival that of power plants running on fossil fuel. Another drawback of dams is that people often need to be relocated. In the case of the Three Gorges Dams Project in China -- which will be the largest dam in the world when completed in 2009 -- 1.9 million people were moved and countless historical sites were flooded and lost.
Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion
Oceans cover 70 percent of the Earth, and water is a natural solar energy collector. OTEC, or ocean thermal energy conversion, aims to exploit this fact and use the temperature differences between surface water heated by the sun and water in the ocean's chilly depths to generate electricity.

Nuclear
Albert Einstein told us that the line between matter and energy is a fuzzy one. Energy can be produced by either splitting or combining atoms—processes known as fission and fusion respectively.
Nuclear fission releases harmful radiation and produces large amounts of radioactive material, which can remain active for thousands of years and can destroy entire ecosystems if leaked. There is also concern that nuclear material could be used in weapons.
Currently, most nuclear power plants use fission, as fusion requires tremendous amounts of energy to produce and maintain the necessary high temperatures. But a natural phenomenon known as sonoluminescence might one day provide a means of duplicating the power of the
Fuel Cells
At first glance, hydrogen fuel cells might seem like the perfect alternative to fossil fuels. They can generate electricity using only hydrogen and oxygen and are pollution free. An automobile running on hydrogen fuel cells would not only be more efficient than one powered by an internal combustion engine, its only emission would be water.
Antimatter
Antimatter is the Bizarro twin of matter, made up of antiparticles that have the same mass as ordinary matter but with opposite atomic properties known as spin and charge. When the opposed particles meet, they annihilate each other and release tremendous amounts of energy as dictated by Einstein’s famous equation, E=mc2.
Antimatter is already in use in a medical imaging technique known as positron emission tomography (PET), but its use as a potential fuel source remains in the realm of science fiction.

Speed Up Your laptop’s Start up Time

Is your laptop running slow? There are many possible reasons why your home computer is running slow. Here are some tips you can use to help get your PC back up to speed.

Change Your Boot Menu's Timeout Values
If you're dual-booting your machine, then your boot menu probably has a "timeout value", meaning the amount of time it waits for you to make a selection before it just boots into the default OS. On Windows, this timeout value is often 30 seconds, which is a long time to wait if you aren't looking directly at your screen. To change this timeout value, head to msconfig and click on the BOOT.INI tab, and change the number in the timeout box to something lower. If you're dual-booting with Linux, you're probably running the GRUB boot menu, and you can change the timeout on that too

Keep Your Antivirus Running and Up to Date
Make sure that you are not loading Trojans or adware when you boot. Not only should you keep your antivirus software like McAfee or Norton up to date, you should load and install an adware fighter like Lavasoft's Ad Aware, which is free for private use and does a good job of removing pop-ups, and tracking cookies and other spyware.

Disable/Delay Startup Apps
Most laptops—particularly those that come loaded with free software—get bogged down during startup when trying to load a ton of programs simultaneously. While removing unnecessary pre-installed applications can shave some seconds off your boot time (see our second-to-last tip), a surefire way to do it is to disable all but the most crucial applications from starting with your notebook.
To do this, open the Start Menu, type and run “msconfig” in the search menu box and navigate to the Startup tab. While there, look at each of the Startup items and uncheck any that don’t look absolutely essential, such as Adobe Reader and Acrobat Manager or Google Update. Alternatively, you can search for Services in the Start Menu, then change the Startup type of any nonessential applications from Automatic to Automatic (Delayed Start). Simply right click on the service, select Properties and then change the Startup type in the drop-down menu.

Delete / hide Unused Fonts
You probably don’t think about it, but it can take several seconds for Windows 7 to load one of its most innocuous features—fonts. Windows 7 comes preloaded with more than 200 typefaces, including fonts for many of the world’s languages. Chances are slim that you’ll need to compose text in Mangal, Shonar Bangla and Times New Roman, and disabling fonts that you’re unlikely to use won’t adversely affect your Windows experience. While it’s easy to delete fonts, hiding fonts achieves the same effect to boot time while preserving them for later—just search for Fonts using the Start Menu’s search bar, right click on the fonts you don’t need, and select Hide

Disable Unused Hardware
Your computer loads a lot of drivers when it first starts up, some of which you might not even use. Head into the Device Manager from the Start Menu's search box, and look for anything you aren't using—Bluetooth controllers, modems, and virtual Wi-Fi adapters are common culprits. Right-click on the entry you want to disable and hit "Disable". Remember to only do this with things you don't actually use—if you use Wireless Hosted Networks, you'll need to keep those virtual Wi-Fi adapters enabled. It's also worth mentioning here that keeping all your drivers up to date will help this portion of the startup time, too

Remove Crapware
If you’ve implemented all of the previous tips, chances are you’ve disabled most of the programs causing significant delays in your laptop’s boot time. Still, it never hurts to get rid of all of that pre-installed third-party software that comes loaded on lots of machines, popularly dubbed “crapware,” that tries to start up with Windows.
Go into Control Panel and click on Uninstall A Program to open the list of currently installed applications. We recommend keeping any software from the notebook manufacturer—but feel free to remove anything else you think you’ll never use

Tweak Your BIOS
When you first set up your computer, your BIOS is set up to make things a bit more convenient for you, but once you're all set up, those things can be disabled. If you hold the DEL key when you start up your computer (or whatever key your BIOS tells you to enter setup), you can turn on the "Quick Boot" option and move your hard disk to the top of the boot priority list. The Quick Boot setting will turn off the tests your computer runs when it first turns on, and the boot priority tweak will tell your computer not to look for CDs, thumb drives, or other media when it first starts, which will get you booted into your OS quicker. If you ever need to boot from CD though, you'll have to go back into the BIOS and change this again before you do.
Update your system
Often overlooked as a measure to improve your computer's boot-up time, updating your software and hardware drivers can be an essential step. These are simple to do yourself using Windows Update, and you won't be disappointed by the results. You can even automate your updates, too.
If you're in an office environment, however, be sure to check with your IT department before you update your computer. They might want to do it for you or instruct you to do something in a particular way.

Compresses 1GB Data to 10MB with KGB Archiver

KGB Archiver is a file archiver and data compression utility based on the PAQ6 compression algorithm. Written in Microsoft Visual C++ by Tomasz Pawlak, KGB Archiver is designed to achieve a very high compression ratio. As a consequence, the program is relatively memory and CPU intensive. KGB Archiver is free and open source software released under the terms of the GNU General Public License. Version 2 beta 2 is available for Microsoft Windows and a command line version of KGB Archiver 1.0 is available for Unix-like operating systems. KGB Archiver is one of the few applications that works with the PAQ algorithm for making its KGB files.[2] It has ten levels of compression, from very weak to maximum, a greater variety than that found in most other compression software. However, at higher compression levels, the time required to compress a file

KGB Archiver is free and open source software which compresses 1GB file to 10MB file. Data compression utility of this software is based on PAQ6 algorithm which has AES-256 powerful encryption. It works on both Windows and Linux operating system. Compression ratio of this software is very high. Due to high compression levels, time to compress a file goes high as the size of the file increases and compression ratio may vary depending on the format of the file.

When a file is compressed with KGB Archiver it saves it with own extension and at the time of decompression it automatically recognizes the file format. The only limitation of KGB archiver is, decompressed file cannot be open or extract with other compression softwares. You can also choose any compression level (high, maximum, normal, low, very weak) to compress a file but the compression time will vary according to your selected compression level.

If you are compressing any file with KGB archiver and sending the comprssed file to your friends then he must have KBG archiver installed on his computer to decompress the file.

Why Laptops Crash !!

You have just been struck by the Blue Screen of Death. Anyone who uses Microsoft Windows will be familiar with this. What can you do? More importantly, how can you prevent it happening?
1 Hardware conflict
The number one reason why Windows crashes is hardware conflict. Each hardware device communicates to other devices through an interrupt request channel (IRQ). These are supposed to be unique for each device.
If there are a lot of devices, or if they are not installed properly, two of them may end up sharing the same IRQ number. When the user tries to use both devices at the same time, a crash can happen. The way to check if your laptops has a hardware conflict is through the following route:
* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Device Manager.
Often if a device has a problem a yellow '!' appears next to its description in the Device Manager. Highlight Laptops (in the Device Manager) and press Properties to see the IRQ numbers used by your laptops. If the IRQ number appears twice, two devices may be using it.
Sometimes a device might share an IRQ with something described as 'IRQ holder for PCI steering'. This can be ignored. The best way to fix this problem is to remove the problem device and reinstall it.
Sometimes you may have to find more recent drivers on the internet to make the device function properly. A good resource is www.driverguide.com. If the device is a soundcard, or a modem, it can often be fixed by moving it to a different slot on the motherboard (be careful about opening your laptops, as you may void the warranty).
When working inside a laptops you should switch it off, unplug the mains lead and touch an unpainted metal surface to discharge any static electricity.
To be fair to Mcft, the problem with IRQ numbers is not of its making. It is a legacy problem going back to the first PC designs using the IBM 8086 chip. Initially there were only eight IRQs. Today there are 16 IRQs in a PC. It is easy to run out of them. There are plans to increase the number of IRQs in future designs.
2 Bad Ram
Ram (random-access memory) problems might bring on the blue screen of death with a message saying Fatal Exception Error. A fatal error indicates a serious hardware problem. Sometimes it may mean a part is damaged and will need replacing.
EMM386 error messages refer to memory problems but may not be connected to bad Ram. This may be due to free memory problems often linked to old Dos-based programmes.
3 BIOS settings
Every motherboard is supplied with a range of chipset settings that are decided in the factory. A common way to access these settings is to press the F2 or delete button during the first few seconds of a boot-up.
Once inside the BIOS, great care should be taken. It is a good idea to write down on a piece of paper all the settings that appear on the screen. That way, if you change something and the laptops becomes more unstable, you will know what settings to revert to.
A common BIOS error concerns the CAS latency. This refers to the Ram. Older EDO (extended data out) Ram has a CAS latency of 3. Newer SDRam has a CAS latency of 2. Setting the wrong figure can cause the Ram to lock up and freeze the laptops's display.
4 Hard disk drives
After a few weeks, the information on a hard disk drive starts to become piecemeal or fragmented. It is a good idea to defragment the hard disk every week or so, to prevent the disk from causing a screen freeze. Go to
* Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Defragmenter
This will start the procedure. You will be unable to write data to the hard drive (to save it) while the disk is defragmenting, so it is a good idea to schedule the procedure for a period of inactivity using the Task Scheduler.
The Task Scheduler should be one of the small icons on the bottom right of the Windows opening page (the desktop).
Some lockups and screen freezes caused by hard disk problems can be solved by reducing the read-ahead optimisation. This can be adjusted by going to
* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System Icon-Performance-File System-Hard Disk.
Hard disks will slow down and crash if they are too full. Do some housekeeping on your hard drive every few months and free some space on it. Open the Windows folder on the C drive and find the Temporary Internet Files folder. Deleting the contents (not the folder) can free a lot of space.
Empty the Recycle Bin every week to free more space. Hard disk drives should be scanned every week for errors or bad sectors. Go to
* Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-ScanDisk
Otherwise assign the Task Scheduler to perform this operation at night when the laptops is not in use.
5 Fatal OE exceptions and VXD errors
Fatal OE exception errors and VXD errors are often caused by video card problems.
These can often be resolved easily by reducing the resolution of the video display. Go to
* Start-Settings-Control Panel-Display-Settings
Here you should slide the screen area bar to the left. Take a look at the colour settings on the left of that window. For most desktops, high colour 16-bit depth is adequate.
If the screen freezes or you experience system lockups it might be due to the video card. Make sure it does not have a hardware conflict. Go to
* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Device Manager
Here, select the + beside Display Adapter. A line of text describing your video card should appear. Select it (make it blue) and press properties. Then select Resources and select each line in the window. Look for a message that says No Conflicts.
If you have video card hardware conflict, you will see it here. Be careful at this point and make a note of everything you do in case you make things worse.
The way to resolve a hardware conflict is to uncheck the Use Automatic Settings box and hit the Change Settings button. You are searching for a setting that will display a No Conflicts message.
Another useful way to resolve video problems is to go to
* Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Performance-Graphics
Here you should move the Hardware Acceleration slider to the left. As ever, the most common cause of problems relating to graphics cards is old or faulty drivers (a driver is a small piece of software used by a laptops to communicate with a device).
Look up your video card's manufacturer on the internet and search for the most recent drivers for it.
6 Viruses
Often the first sign of a virus infection is instability. Some viruses erase the boot sector of a hard drive, making it impossible to start. This is why it is a good idea to create a Windows start-up disk. Go to
* Start-Settings-Control Panel-Add/Remove Programs
Here, look for the Start Up Disk tab. Virus protection requires constant vigilance.
A virus scanner requires a list of virus signatures in order to be able to identify viruses. These signatures are stored in a DAT file. DAT files should be updated weekly from the website of your antivirus software manufacturer.
7 Printers
The action of sending a document to print creates a bigger file, often called a postscript file.
Printers have only a small amount of memory, called a buffer. This can be easily overloaded. Printing a document also uses a considerable amount of CPU power. This will also slow down the laptops's performance.
If the printer is trying to print unusual characters, these might not be recognised, and can crash the laptops. Sometimes printers will not recover from a crash because of confusion in the buffer. A good way to clear the buffer is to unplug the printer for ten seconds. Booting up from a powerless state, also called a cold boot, will restore the printer's default settings and you may be able to carry on.
8 Software
A common cause of laptops crash is faulty or badly-installed software. Often the problem can be cured by uninstalling the software and then reinstalling it. Use Norton Uninstall or Uninstall Shield to remove an application from your system properly. This will also remove references to the programme in the System Registry and leaves the way clear for a completely fresh copy.
9 Overheating
Central processing units (CPUs) are usually equipped with fans to keep them cool. If the fan fails or if the CPU gets old it may start to overheat and generate a particular kind of error called a kernel error. This is a common problem in chips that have been overclocked to operate at higher speeds than they are supposed to.
10 Power supply problems
With all the new construction going on around the country the steady supply of electricity has become disrupted. A power surge or spike can crash a laptops as easily as a power cut.
If this has become a nuisance for you then consider buying a uninterrupted power supply (UPS). This will give you a clean power supply when there is electricity, and it will give you a few minutes to perform a controlled shutdown in case of a power cut.
It is a good investment if your data are critical, because a power cut will cause any unsaved data to be lost.

Laptop restarting automatically ? Here are the solution !

Sometimes you will see your laptop getting restarted or shutdown automatically without any instruction from your side. May be you find this issue very often and all the works you were doing (without saving) are gone. This is a frustrating scenario when you are working on some important stuff and your laptop restarts without any notice. Of course this is an improper restart or shutdown and may damage your laptop’s hardware like Hard Disk or may damage your Operating System like Windows. Blue screen and restart is a common problem with laptops. Though the problems sometimes is very normal type.  We should learn the basic reasons behind this beacuse there may be different reasons for this common problem.

The major reasons for the automatic reboot of your PC are
1. Virus or Malware
2 Software /driver conflicts on your laptop
3 Hardware Failure
 i. Heat related issues
ii. Corrupted system memory
iii. Dust particles in your system cabinet
iv. possible loose connection

And the "BLUE SCREEN ERROR". usually face in the following situations.
1. If you have installed any software which is not compatible with your operating syestm.
2. If you try to play high graphic resolution games with out a graphic card.
3. If you have done any hardware changes in your syestm.
4. If any of the external hardware connected to your system doesnot suppoeted bt your system.
5. If your system is effected with a virus.(I used to face this kind of problem because of this reason)

To solve this problem, you should follow below mentioned steps
1. Remove any additional hardware like keybord or mouse or printer or any external hard disks or any thing.
2. Try to undo the hardware changes if u have done any
3. start the system in SAFEMODE (by pressing F8 while startup, u will go to OS selection Menu)
4. 5o to command promt and enter "chkdsk /f" this checks your hardsisk. do it in all drives.
5. Try to restore your system to an earlier time when it used to work properly
5. if this doesnt work, then try repairing your operating system if u have an OS CD. ( By selecting "Repair" when doing the OS installation)
6.if this doenst work then re install your OS by formatting all your hard disk. (Format everything)
7. If you still get the same problem after immediate restart of your system after a fresh installation, then you may have to send your system to a service center for hardware repair.

   Also follow the following steps
Step 1. Change the CMOS battery on your motherboard
Step 2. Clean  the motherboard, Cable Slots of Hard disk, RAM Slots, CD Drive Slot etc inside the CPU box
Step 3. Attach one more fan inside the box to exhaust the hot air from inside the box to outside
Step 4. Install a good Anti-Virus program on your system and run full system scan. Checkout free versions of good Antivirus or Internet Security programs
Step 5. In case your systems is still restarting frequently then go ahead and format the hard disk and install a fresh copy of operating system

Finally if you didnot find any problem with your laptops hardware and software, then do the following steps. Don't use this setting with defective hardwre.
steps 1
a. Right click Computer.
b. Click on Properties.
c. Advanced System Settings.
d. Advanced Tab.

" Char Dham " the most revered sites for the Hindus

Char Dham is referred to the four Hindu religious sites in Uttarakhand state of India. These are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. Nestled in the lap of majestic Himalayas, these four sites are the epicenter of religious activity in north India. Traditionally, the Chardham yatra is undertaken from the west to the east. Thus, the yatra starts from Yamunotri, then proceeding to Gangotri and finally to Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Amongst the four Char Dhams, Yamunotri and Gangotri are dedicated to goddesses Yamuna and Ganga respectively. On the other hand, Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva while Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Moreover, people also visit Hemkund Sahib in the vicinity, which is one of the highest located religious sites in the country. Thus, pilgrims visit all these places in aspiration of washing away their sins and to attain salvation, by the blessings of the Lord.
Badrinath dham
Situated in the lap of Nar-Narayan Parvat, with the towering Neelkanth peak (6,597mts.) in the background, Badrinath is one of the most revered Hindu shrines of India. On the right bank of Alaknanda lies the sacred spot perched at an altitude of 3,133 meters above the sea level. Encircled by a beautiful valley, the 15 mts. high temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
The temple divided into three parts - the 'garbha griba' or sanctum sanctorum, the 'darshan mandap' where the rituals are conducted and the 'sabha mandap'where devotees’ assemble. The complex has 15 idols. Especially attractive is the one meter high image of Badrinath, finely sculpted in black stone. It represents Lord Vishnu seated in meditative pose. The main entrance gate is colorful & imposing popularly known as Singhdwar. It is believed that to revive the lost prestige of Hinduism and to unite the country in one bond, Adi Guru Sri Shankaracharya the philosopher-saint of the 8th century built four pilgrimage centres in four corners of India.

The main deity in Badrinath dham is a meditating Lord Vishnu. Legend has it that Lord Vishnu came to this area("Badri Van") to meditate, after Narad rebuked the Lord for being immersed in worldly pleasures.

Kedarnath
Amidst the dramatic mountainscapes of the majestic Kedarnath range stands one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Lying at an altitude of 3581 m on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus. There are more than 200 shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva in the district itself, the most important one is Kedarnath.

According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kauravas in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
Kedarnath is named after King Kedar who ruled in the Satya Yuga. He ruled the seven continents and was a very saintly king. He had a daughter named Vrnda who was a partial incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi
Gangotri
Along the right bank of Bhagirathi stands the shrine of Gangotri dedicated to the Goddess. Perched at a height of 3048 mts., it was constructed in the early 18th century by a Gorkha Commander, Amar Singh Thapa. Every year, lakhs of pilgrims throng the sacred temple between May and October. By November, Gangotri is covered by snow. It is believed that the Goddess retreats to Mukhba, her winter abode (12 kms downstream).
The physical source of the holy river is at Gaumukh, 18 kms. Further uphill, along the Gangotri Glacier. Several pilgrims trek upto the source to offer prayers either on foot or on ponies.
According to mythology, Goddess Ganga - the daughter of heaven, manifested herself in the form of a river to absolve the sins of King Bhagirath’s predecessors, following his severe penance of several centuries. Lord Shiva received into his matted locks to minimize the immense impact of her fall. She came to be called Bhagirathi at her legendary source.
Yamunotri
The Shrine of Yamunotri, source of river Yamuna is situated in the direction opposite to Gangotri , can also be visited via Mussoorie and Barkot. Situated at an elevation of 3235 metres above sea-level, the shrine of Yamunotri is one of the ‘four dhams’ of Uttarakhand. The source of Yamuna lies about 1 km. ahead at the altitude of about 4421 metres. There are hot springs close to the temple, a bath in them is very refreshing after a tedious 13 kms. Trek from Hanumanchatti or 5 kms. From Janki Chatti.
According to the legend ancient sage Asit Muni had his hermitage here. All his life, he bathed daily both in Ganga and Yamuna. Unable to go to Gangotri during his old age, a stream of Ganga appeared opposite Yamunotri for him.
The temple and the place opens every year on the auspicious day of the akshya-tritya, which generally falls during the last week of April, or the first week of May. The temple always closes on the sacred day of Diwali mid- Oct. - 1st week of Nov.
"The daughter of the Sun god, Surya and consciousness, Sangya the birth place of the Yamuna is the Champasar Glacier (4421 m) just below the Banderpoonch Mountain. The mountain adjacent to the river source is dedicated to her father, and is called Kalinda Parvat. Kalinda being another name of Surya. Yamuna is known for her frivolousness, a trait that she developed because as per a common story - Yamuna's mother could never make eye contact with her dazzling husband.

Easily Copy Text From a Protected Web Page /blogs

Internet is a place full of interesting websites which contain lots of article to print and copy on your computer. Right click on any internet browser is very important element and we must use it when it comes to copy or editing texts and etc and it’s very important when it comes to webmasters too. But some people may use it in a bad way, so some web site  disabled  right click function on their web site
to protect their text, images links and etc… But websites aren't around forever and sometimes users may want to download the site content as referenced material for future use, in case the site goes down. The text may also be needed if the material in question is being used as a direct quote and is properly cited and sourced. The method to copy protected text described here has the highest rate of success, but there are other ways to copy content from protected web pages.  The trouth is that "If It Can Be Seen, It Can Be Copied." So here are the method to copy protected meterial from any website.
1, Disable or circumvent CSS. CSS, for Cascading Style Sheets, is actually an incredibly powerful approach to defining web page look and feel and behaviour. Using CSS it's quite possible to disable or modify the way web pages behave. It's also easy to turn off: in FireFox click on View,Page Style and then click on No Style. The page will be re-rendered without CSS and the result, which typically visually unappealing, may well be copy-able.

2, Disable Javascript. Many sites will use Javascript to implement copy protection. Disabling Javascript, in turn, disables the copy protection completely. (That happened to be the case with the example site. It also disabled a number of popup ads as a bonus.) for this function  go to tools>options>content>click on box before java script then  copy the text and enjoy.
The easiest way is to use Firefox and the "NoScript" plugin which allows you enable or disable Javascript on a site-by-site basis.

3, Go to the web page you wish to grab the content from. Copy this code and paste it on your browser address bar:javascript:void(document.onselectstart=null).Press Enter.Copy and Paste whatever text you wish!

4, Try to save the copy-protected web page as HTML file, and then from that HTML file, you can try to extract plain text and copy that. The HTML file can be saved using the Save As option available in most browsers. Alternatively, you can View Source of the web page, and then save the source as a text file.

How to Disable Right click/ copy function in Blogger

Sometimes websites have a security feature in place that protects the text of the website to prevent users from stealing site content. So that some web sites do not allow their visitors using right mouse click while pointer is on the blog area. This option is useful for the site and blog owners, who want to minimize the possibilities of the content direct copying to other posts. They have valuable information and  people try to steal and republish their content frequently. That is, of course, quite illegal and a violation of international copyright law. And you may want to make click right disabled on your blog. to protect you text, images links and etc.

S0 to setup thisfunction in your blog Copy the Following code and paste it to your blog by adding a new page element.
First  Go to Dashboard > Layout > Add Gadget > HTML / JavaScript.then Copy the following code and paste it in that blogger widget. and Save the html/javascript and view you blog..
<script language=JavaScript>
